From seashells to 14k gold jewelry, Home Port is sure to have the perfect gift for anyone on your list! We cannot describe all of our wonderful merchandise here, but can show you some photos to whet your interest! We try to be unique, but affordable, and carry items not found in other shops on the Island. Many of our products are handcrafted by local and regional artists, and are one of a kind.
We have limited edition prints from award winning Linda Browning, photography from Michael Halminski, and mixed media from Pam Donahue--all local artists!
Our pottery is all handcrafted by North Carolina and regional potters, including highly acclaimed Bill Campbell, Blanket Creek, Hoffman Pottery, and Cody Jeffcoat--just a few of the artists represented at Home Port!
Local artist Jan Scarborough fashions the most extraordinary jewelry, making many of her own beads. She has recently started hand carving metals-silver, bronze, and copper--making the most beautiful pendants. Wait till you see her crocheted necklaces and bracelets, fashioned from silver and copper, with beads and crystals!
Our sea glass jewelry is made by the sister of a local island resident, from glass collected on our beaches. We have some beautiful pieces, each one as unique as the glass from which it was fashioned!
